I should have got our car at the end of September when we got our first one that we had.
Then it was moved to November the next year.
Well this year we should have got it in November. Hubby went there to pick out our new one for this year. I picked th colour.
We have had a phone call to say it will not be ready until after Christmas. They have sorted out the insurance for the one we have.It has now haf it's MOT and passed.
If you have a smaller car you do get some of the money given to you. It is only when you get the bigger cars they take all the money.
What does seem funny is the reason it is coming later is because they are so behind with orders.
There are so many people out of work.

Hope you don't mind me joining in..?
We ordered our next car last sunday, hoping it gets here for the swap-over date of 21st december but he did say it could be january, but not to worry if it is because he will just extend the one we have now..
I can't wait though, don't really like this one but it's me fault, I rushed into getting it as the previous one had to be sent back early due to mechanical problems and the one I have now was there and ready to be taken away...
Going to be getting the new meriva, it's lovely...

Hi Tony
Welcome to the Forums, nice to meet you. No you can butt in anywhere you want we never take offence it is nice to have a new face on here.
Sorry about your car but lets hope the new one is much better for you.
Mike, it does happen they do get so busy for the cars. You will get it so don't worry.
As i said ealier if the car is a smaller one you do get some of the money back or you should do.
I cannot see why there should be any difference there to here really it is all done under Motorbility so I think it should be as I have said.
Why don't you give them a ring and find out. Or you could speak to the dealer and ask them.
Let me know how you get on and I will ring and ask here. I won't mention your name just make an enquiry and see if they say it is different.

Hi Toni (same name as our Daughter).. The new Mareva is really nice, I think that you can get one with zero down payment, the one we're getting is £450 because it's an automatic (bad left leg) and a diesel (my choice)... Also, to be honest I have decided to treat us and get the top of the range, so we get all the xtras etc.
They are a great car for getting in and out of as they are a good height, the seats are ver comfortable, the rear doors open backwards (suicide doors they call them) and this makes the back really easy to access too as the doors open fully.. Really nice touch.
I can't wait to get it..
And thanks on here for letting me join in, and hello to those that I have not spoken to before.

Hi
I ordered a nissan quasqai in late July to pick up on 18th October. I had heard nothing from the dealer so decided to ring them last Thursday. Oh sorry but your car won't be ready until late November. I was very disappointed as we had planned a trip to Manchester in it this weekend and stay overnight for a treat.
Still going to Manchester though!
I didn't have any problems the last time, apparently the car I've ordered is very popular,
Janie0 -
It is very popular Jane but has had suspension problems. So keep an eye out. It is awful when you plan to go somewhere and rely on the nice new car. I presume you still have the old car?
Mike will this make things difficult for your son as his operation is next week and the car would have made the trip easier ? I don't think you have any car at the moment.
Best wishes hope all goes well for you,
