I had plans for today; thought I would attempt to bake a cake, something I haven't done for about 3 years. Ha! No chance! Arthur has descended upon me & decided it is a 'lets get in Lynn's way day'. Oh well, I shouldn't eat cake anyway.........

    Lynn

I made a choc fudge one with daughter#s help for hubby's birthday 3 weeks ago. It killed me virtually but I felt good about doing it.

Could you do it in stages? Get the ingredients out, sit down, get your bowl, spoons, scales etc out, sit down, measure ingredients out, sit down etc you get the picture. It may take all afternoon, but you may get there in the end!

Best laid plans and all that eh?

    Ggggrrrr arthur, I hate you!!

Thank you everyone for all your support. Bless you, you cheer me up. I was going to make a lemon & sultana cake, not difficult really, a recipe from a very old housekeeping diary type book that - now I am going to show my age! - used to be sold every xmas by the milkman on his rounds!

    I will attempt another day.

    Love you all xxxxxxxxxx :)

I love my Dairy Diary - I don't have a milkman any more but I still buy the diary - some of the recipes are fabulous, and the general info is very handy to have around. I am glad you are feeling brighter. DD
