Well after last nights fun I got in late and wanted to watch the wheelchair dude talk about space etc(we have a dvd recorder and it tapes two programs at once cleaver little thing!!) so well all sit down and I'm forced by the war office and little war office to sit and watch X factor, now in my cynically drunken state I found that only after a short while I started to get this terrible urge to strangle Slimon Cowel and that woman he was with, you know the black bird that wears bugger all she had a single or two back in the 1980's I think both were crap, anyway I digress.
after a short while I started to see that the whole thing is just a bloody freak show that feeds on those who have no chance of ever making it but are just being used to make money for dear old Slimon, there are so many below average odd acting and very odd looking people who are in boot camp, but what worries me is some of these people are very delusional and can't see that the joke is on them, it's so bad this time round it's flippin sick. it's almost like a type of Jeremy Kyle show but with singing.
The worst thing is it's on tonight and I can't really face it so might just go to bed early and try and sleep this horrible cold off, sorry for moaning but I felt quite sad for some of those taking part, and for those watching it, if this is entertainment then I'm a donkey.

I think you raise a valid point, it is almost a freak show now, isn't it? There are some very vulnerable people putting themselves forward for scrutiny. It is exploitative and distasteful. Obviously many like watching people humiliate themselves in public, but it isn't my cup of tea. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

hi not my cup of tea either but if they want to go on it there choice on one makes them so if they want there fifteen mins of fame they can they can have mine as well if they want to valval0

will you lot stop it I'm trying to make a serious and valid observation here!, hey one thing Len that chicken is going to be dead first yeah!?, and seeming I have been forced to watch the freak show over the last few weeks I must say the little black lass from Zimbabwe has something special about here and whatever happens she makes it as she really deserves a break in my book!.0

Oh that well what can I say?, much more interesting totally mind blowing, hey you know this new planet they have found 20 light years away in the Goldilocks zone around yonder star right, well it's come to light that a few years before they detected a laser light source coming from that particular point in space but have never seen any more, strange but true, and as the wheelchair dude says, "check it out!".0

Do you think so cebeem? , what get my flippin goat is we recorded it and when we went to play it first thing is the amount of adverts and secondly they have fixed it so I can't jump the adverts as I normally can so they are!,????*&^@~#ARGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!. god that feels better!.0

Hi mellman!
I absolutely loathe that X Factor thing too but luckily for me, so does my OH. Our place is a completely Cowell free zone! Ahhhh, bliss!0 -
Well, I should know - I used to work for Max before Arthur came to stay! Hence my username which is also my email address. I get really annoyed, as you can imagine, when people assume I am an X factor fan because of it! At one point, our uniforms had the X enlarged & jumping out & customers would say "Ooo I love X-factor too!". Grrrrrr!
