Hello, I'm back after a short of funny cold that didn't come to much but would'nt go!

I've heard from my GP regarding the cyst that the mri found. The radiologist and the rheummy think its gyne and they have referred me to have an ultrasound to look at my overies, but I havn't got any as they have been removed 25 years ago and I'm on hrt. Sometimes they do leave scarring or regrow the cysts from my endometrosis!!!

Anyway my GP was going to ask the rheummy to reassess the scan to see if I have to go back. I know the cysts can regrow, thats why you have to wait 3 months for hrt, but I've since read that sometimes they come back years afterwards. At least if its endo, its not too serious and can be left or treated depending on where it is.

My arthritis has been a bit sore in the neck and hands and I'm going to see the OT about them on Wednesday. I hope everyone is coping with the horrible weather, I think it makes things worse. Love Sue

    Hi Sue

glad the cold has now gone but sorry that arthur is niggling you.
He is a pain in my neck too at the moment, Keep trying to shrug him off but he is clinging on for dear life.

Hope when you see the next person about your cysts that they say you can ignore them and no surgery is needed.

Sunny here today big difference from yesterday.

    Take care

    Hi Sue

Glad to see you back on the forum. My in-laws both have colds/coughs and my son and his wife are also down with it. I've told them to keep away - then felt dreadful and sent them an email saying if they needed anything to let me know!!!:lol:

I hope they sort things out soon with regards to your cyst. At least you know what it is.

Yes the weather has been miserable but hopefully it'll improve.

    Regards
    Sharmaine

Hi, Its the best thing you can do for everyone, Sharmaine, to keep away from the bugs! After all if you catch something it means that you'll need looking after and with the arther, it'll take longer to go, so don't feel guilty! My husband is off work today as he has my cold now, but of course it's much worse!! :) The weather here has been awful since Saturday, today its rained non-stop. Yuk.

Anyway, I hope they soon sort things out as it seems my notes are a mess at the hospital. My GP couldn't find anything much on the computer system, which is supposed to speed things up. At least I feel a lot better in myself this week. Love Sue

    Hi

My hubby is the worse patient ever! He decided to walk to the garage (3 miles away) then he did 30 minutes on the exercise bike and couldn't move for 2 days. He kept complaining how much his legs hurt. Poor thing - we suffer daily with pain and when they get a nip of it they moan!!!

I hope your hubby recovers quickly ... for your sake if nothing else!!

I am glad to hear you are feeling better - there are all sorts of bugs and sniffles around at the moment. The weather here is dire, had the lights on all day! DD
Have you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben

    Hi Sue
Nice to see you back xx
Glad the cold has gone for you, but pity your hubby has it now, and that it is more fierce!!
I bet you thought you had done with gynae after the hysterectomy etc.. I know I hope I have! I hope it turns out to be some thing which can be sorted easily and you can put it behind you soon.
We have had lovely sun here today, but not been out as my son was off school ill. (he`ll be back tomorrow so watch the rain over Lancs!!)

I have had OA since mid twenties. It affects my hips and knees. I had a THR on the left aged 30 and now have a resurface-replacement on the right - done May 2010.
