Sir Norman Wisdom has died at the age of 95.

I absolutely loved him.

That is sad news, Carol. He was a true clown, and much loved by many people.

One of the last greats has gone, my sister read his biography and he had an terrible childhood poor old bugger but he never let it stop him having a smile. I also love the reason why he was big in Albania he was a type of national hero there, a very lovable and humble chap who was a good honest soul, not many of his type around these days.

I had the pleasure of meeting Norman Wisdom, many years ago in Manchester, he was like a little boy, just like he was in his films, so bubbly and friendly.
What a loss, but his films will live on.
