Here I go again moaning
I've been in quite a lot of pain for the last few days
Which is all along my pelvis down both legs & in my heels, I have used my patches, tramadol
which doesn't take the pain away, It hurts to sit, stand, or lie down.
I wasn't due to go back to the doctors until Monday, But ended up going today, My doctor helped me to lie on the couch to examine me, asked me to try & lift my legs one at a time, which I couldn't because it was too painful,
then she asked me if it hurt in my private parts  I thought how did she know that, then told me that I had a prolapsed disc, she asked me my phone number & said she was going to ring the back specialist, told me she was going to increase the strength of my patches,
I feel really low as any one got a gun :x
MOAN OVER SORRY

O Sue!
I'm so sorry to hear about your back! I know how painful a prolapsed disc is.
I really realy hope you don't have to wait too long before seeing the back specialist... what advice did the GP give you meantime?
Iris xxx
ps... you're not moaning! it's excruciatingly painful so you have evry right to moan, shout and scream!0 -
Hi Sue,

Pain is pain is pain. Wherever it is, and whatever is causing it, if it doesn't stop, doesn't relent, doesn't ease and just bangs on and on then no wonder we get ground down. Oh queenfan, it just won't let up for you, will it? Fortunately I don't have a gun, so I can't lend it to you - even if I had, I wouldn't. Let's hope these patches get sorted sooner rather than later and that you do get something like relief from it all. I wish you well. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Thank you everyone for your support,
I am ashamed to same I have been in bed all day,
I seem to be very sore with the bones around my private parts, even sitting on the loo hurts my lower back & these parts (sorry I know to much information)But at least being up here I'm not too much of a pain to any one, even though my hubby is so caring,
I don't know if my doctor took my phone number so the back specialist could phone me she didn't say
One thing I am grateful for is having this stronger patch on as helped me a lot, I hope you are all not in to much paintake care Sue xx

I can only give you a pistol Sue ...........a water pistol
I'm so sorry your back is giving you grief - it's so miserable when it's your back because all movement seems to stem from there.
I hope the stronger patches help you to feel better.
Luv Legs
PS Just read that the patches are helping - Whoops :oops:Love, Legs x

Morning queenfan, I hope you had some rest last night, that the stronger patches are still helping and that you are feeling a little brighter. Staying in bed is sometimes the only option, but I hope you feel able to get up for at least a little while today. That can help too! Take care, DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

Morning Sue
Glad the stronger patch is helping you
If staying in bed for a day is what helps then thats what you need to do

Hi, Sounds really horrible to have all that pain - my neck is sore at the moment, but nothing compared to yours, I think.
I hope the medics are able to sort something out for you to give you proper pain relief. Still, at least, here in Norfolk the sun is shinning, which makes everything look much better!
Take care, love and a hug, Sue xxx(((((()))))0 -
You in Norfolk woodbon? I'm in Suffolk. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

Writing it down on a forum and distancing yourself from pain, venting your emotions publicly before they boil over at home is all good and nothing that should concern us, we all do it.
The only things that get disturbed in this house are the badgers/deer/foxes/wildlife/OH when I'm up in the middle of the night having a cuppa!
Stay cool.

Hi Sue
hope all the stronger patches, bed rest etc is helping and that your appointment comes through soon.
Your GP will have your phone number on your records ... though whether the hospital will phone or write with your appointment will depend on how much short notice it is, I would have thought.

It's funny my hubby always says that when I am embarrassed, or in pain I try to make jokesbut we would do any thing wouldn't we to focus on something else
I hope you are keeping well
I have got some of this lovely sunshine

Ooooh, are you really a knocked-kneed kanckered old nose bag? I thought you looked like this:
You take care, queenfan, stay in bed if that helps. Thinking of you. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0 -
Hi Sue,
I am so sorry you have yet another setback flower. The patches do seem to be helping a bit but I really hope your Dr Gets a reply ASAP for you. Give her a nudge if you do not hear anything back as she sounds as if she will sort things out for you.
In the mean time all you can do is give yourself some TLC and I’m sending you some very gentle hugs.

Hello queenfan, I hope you are feeling a little better/brighter today. I hope you had a good night's rest and that the sun is shining where you are - I swear that helps too! I wish you well. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

Hi Sue
sorry to hear about the pain you've been in despte the medication.
At least you have an idea what it is and she's hopefully the medication will help you soon. It was good of her to phone the specialist rather than waiting for a letter to be sent.
I haven't got a gun - good job too. You really don't need shooting.
Sending you some hugs!
Take care.
