i had a letter this morning telling me that jordan has been awarded his dla it is going to make such a difference with even just getting a blue badge to park abit closer so he doesn't have to stuggle walking to far they have even back dated his claim to july we are so pleased for him .We didn't think he would get it so for anyone thinking about claiming please do not get put off by the big form cut it down in chunks and tackle it a couple of questions aday thats what we did. I makes me feel now that there is a little justice in this not so wonderful world.

What good news, I am so pleased for you. I think you should have had a blue badge anyway, I don't think that's dependant on DLA but at least he has been awarded this and it will help. That has cheered my day! DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

i am really pleased to read this. I also didnt think I would get it but thought I must at least try. I have received my successful award notice.
Don't know what rate you got but if he gets worse do make another claim. Of course I hope he will improve and the medication works well for him.
All the best and well done for keeping on.....

That's great news, the extra money and blue badge should make a real difference.
SpeedyI have had OA since mid twenties. It affects my hips and knees. I had a THR on the left aged 30 and now have a resurface-replacement on the right - done May 2010.0 -
Thank you for sharing this with us. I am so very pleased that you got what Jordan deserves and indeed you too. The BB will also make life easier for you both. I am sure you are full of smiles today and this makes me happy too.
