magnet therapy

Hi, Has anybody used one of these magnet therapy things? I was doing my stint in the local rescue centre and found in a bag of donations a box containing a strap with two magnets in it. The instructions said it was to be used for Arthritis, circulation problems, including veins etc. etc. So thought I'd give it a try and if it works I'd buy it. Strange to say it appears to help. I didn't use it on TKR leg as I remembered physio saying NOT to yse a tens because of the magnetism and the metal in the knee. On my phlebitic leg the clotted bit is itching like mad but the strap does def stop that and pain in my own knee seems a bit less. Any other experiences/

Never tried magnetic therapy but did try copper bangle my gran once bought for me. (bless) It didn't work , just made wrist green.
Glad this magnetic band is working for you .

My mum swears by her magnetic belt and the various magnetic bangles she wears. I have tried them in the past but found them, well, frankly, not that good. I know that those with pacemakers have to be careful with magnets - it's the same old story, what works for one may not for another but if it is helping you then that is a good thing. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

Good luck with the magnets Al
I've not found either magnets or the copper bracelets to be of any help but if they work for you then that's good!
