No thanks, I'm still getting rid of my last one!!
Maybe he needs an MOT and bit of a tune up?0 -
yeah Cathy maybe a full service??0

Is he dogmatic, 'always right', pigheaded and precious? If so, I don't need another one, thanks!

DD yes once again
thanks everybody
Lupin – hes actually mid 30’s although you wouldn’t know it with his great impression of a grumpy old man
Barbara – unfortunately not but he does cut hedges occasionally
Mellman – would do but what with the hassle of disposing of the body and the paperwork involved
Annie – so you’ve met him then
Grrr unsympathetic, deluded and unrealistic all come to mind – I know that’s not really selling him but I was hoping that some people will take anything for free
If we didn’t have a little boy to consider I would have booked myself in a 5star hotel at his expense until he realised what an idiot he was

Oh chrissie, I am so sorry. He is his parent's child, isn't he? I remember my mum telling me years ago - in fact, probably the only bit of sensible advice she has ever given me - that the things that irritate in a boyfriend will a) never be changed by the girlfriend, people only change if they want to and b) what irritates will worsen with age, which applies to both parties. How true. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

She is so right.
And the things that were once endearing, cute or appealing become frustrating, irritating and appalling. I can think of a few...
