Oh LL, poor you. I honestly thought that lockjaw was one of those things comedians joked about, not a real condition. You know, like when I used to be told, as a child, if you don`t shut up, you`ll get lockjaw!

Sending you all my love.......and watch how you get out of the car too!.........Much love.......Ange.

collywobble! How unpleasant, do you have any idea how long it will take to unlock? If you have any perishable cream cakes in your fridge just send them my way, I will gladly hoover them up for you. I hope it eases soon. DD

    Hi Lynn,

That sounds awful and painful. Hope the anti-inflams start to work soon. Keep warm and I have my fingers crossed that it has released its self by morning. Hot water bottle wrapped in a towel overnight is all I can come up with at the moment.

Tell OH that if does not stop laughing he will have firsthand experience of how it feels.!!!

    Hi Lynn,

Sorry to read about your jaw. Maybe it will get better soon if it is on and off. In the meantime will some heat pads help?
I do know that this pain is pretty awful and can make your ears hurt as well.
    Take care, wrap up

i understand how you feel, i actually managed to pull a muscle in my jaw by yawning!! ever since when ever i flare up my jaw aches, i had to go to the dentist last week and the pain of trying to open my mouth and keep it open was awful, i was worried i'd bite the dentist!
hope it calms down very soon, keep up with the heat on it, it really does help so much.
