Thanks very much. I hope they work. I have to wait 1-2 months before I can actually start taking them though due to red tape - not sure what the consultant means by this...??

How are you both today? Toni have you smiled at any more people today?!! Tee hee

    Hi Stlucia,

That is great news I know you were so concerned you would not get it. It’s such a shame that you have to wait so long though.

    Hi Stlucia

That's great news.. Which one will you be going on?? I will probably be going on them in January and I've been offered a choice of 3 (Enbrel, Humira and Infliximab) and I'm thinking of going for Humira ..

I was told as long as I had 2 high DAS scores that I would get approval for them with no problem as these 3 are apparently approved by NICE already.. it's only if I needed other anti-tnfs that I woudl have to wait for funding approval ... But no doubt different areas have different criteria for prescribing them (I'm in the North West)..

Looking forward to hearing how you get on with them.

Thanks so much everyone. I am really relieved!

Marion, great you can get on them too! We can test them out together! I will either go for Humira or the one that is an infusion.

Has any one got any recommendations?!
