    Dear Lucy

You are a strong woman and as you say were expecting this already. I am so very sorry I know it is still a huge shock - at least you have bravely started on your DMARDs already.

Did you see Saggyoldbagpuss is suffering too?

My heart goes out to both of you and my love too.

    Hi Lucy

Have just sent you a pm but hadn't seen this message when I sent it. We must have been writing at the same time.

I am so sorry that your diagnosis has now been confirmed through your blood test results. You are right, it IS a shock, even when you are expecting it.

But, as Toni says, you have already taken the first step in the fight, by starting on the sulpha and you have a brilliant fighting spirit which will help you to cope.

You enjoy that bottle of wine Lucy - you deserve it.

Hope you are doing something nice at the weekend?

Chin up chuck, you're not on your own with this.

    Lots love and (((())))s

    Hi Lucy,

It's a bummer isn't it to hear those words said even if you were expecting them.

I'm glad you've got the fighting spirit that way arthur won't win and completely take over your life - you're in control girl :D

Even though I've had RA for the better part of my life d'you reckon I can share a glass of wine with you ...........what are we on red, white or rosé? :wink:t0314.gif

    Hi Lucy,

I'm sorry to hear your news! I was diagnosed in July and it took me a while to accept it... I don't think I completely have yet to be honest. You have the right kick-**** attitude though!!

This forum is a great place for support as everyone here understands what you are going through, I certainly have felt better since coming here.

It's been a big day for a couple of you on this forum, the day you are diagnosed is a day you never forget.

Keep strong and don't let it get you too down - we are here to try and support you!

    (((((((((((((HUGS)))))))))) xx :D

    Hi Lucy

Thanks for your good wishes for today.

Sun IS out here and it is gorgeous, Are you going to manage your shopping trip?

Re your "burn" - sounds nasty? Have you checked whether that is listed on the side effects leaflet? If you are unsure, you could always check with the pharmacist (as long as it isn't your boss?!!!!!)

You could also post on the forum to see if anyone else has had the same thing...

    Love Tilly xxx
