Just read about Ange..... I have to say its very regrettable that these things seem to happen.......

I kinda understand we all get teaey but could we just stop upsetting each other?!

Might make a bit sugary BUT people would not feel they have to leave. It would be more encouraging for the new people to join in and for surely there has been enough aggro on this forum to last a life time now?!

Hi guys, just wanted to say that I agree with Cris 100%, this should be a supportive and friendly place to be. Peaople shouldn't feel like they have to leave, the ones leaving should be those causing the offence in the first place.

I don't really know you ange but you have sent me some lovely encouraging messages and I know that people around here love and value your support. Please rethink because the more people that leave, the more the offensive people win. Anyway whatever you decide to do, sending you much love and hugs ((((())))), Brenda xx

As Cris says people are odd at times (venue me ) and things can be taken wrong or said wrong by mistake.

Avoid anyone who upsets you - that's what I do. Oddly I was upset yesterday too on here, but I care about most of the guys on here and i wont be going anywhere.....

Ange, I would be so sorry to see you go..............please reconsider.

I understand that this is not a good time of the year for you and that you have been hurt by remarks on the forum which were in bad taste verging on racialist, but as Cris has said, you know how minds work better than any of us.

Please don't let those ignorant remarks by individuals with thicker skins than you have get to you.

As Del has said, I personally don't worry too much about what is said here but even so, at times a chance remark can find a chink in the armour.........it has happened but I won't allow it to mar the enjoyment, amusement and camaraderie I find here.

Not sure what is going on but i have found this site friendly and has been my saving grace...only been here for a few weeks but everyone has made me feel so welcome. I do hope i haven't made any comments that have upset you or anyone else. I can be a little off the wall at times but would never go out of my way to hurt someones feeling.
I hope you don't leave as this is a great place to let your hair down, let off steam, share you sorrows, ask for help and great listeners...Have i missed anything out folks???

Don't let crass remarks upset you, people sometimes type things without realising how they come across and they also say things when they're feeling cr@p or having a bad day generally and don't mean them. You're right I don't know the ins and outs of what's going on but I don't want to lose you on here.

We need your sound advice too Ange .....you will be sorely missed if you do stay away.

Whoever has caused you upset, please please dont let them win, we can do without them, but not you my love.
It wont be the same forum without you, maybe you are giving to much support, and needing more yourself , I dont know.

Ange, I am very upset to hear that you are considering leaving. I have no idea what has happened, but if someone has been unkind to you, I think they are the ones with the problem.

You are a lovely, warm-hearted friend, always ready to help and support others, and you would be greatly missed.

I haven't been around very much, I know I am guilty of that, so do not know what has been going on. Like someone else said, I too hve been very upset at things being said, or not said for that matter. I may have been guilty, without knowing it, of saying something that has been taken the wrong way. My fault is that I do not take time to read things through again that often.

I have had lovely messages from you in the past, encouraging ones too and it would be sad to see you leave, If one person has upset you then there are another dozen or so who have not and want you to stay. We love you darling and here's a big ((((((((((((((()))))))))))))

For most of last night I begged and begged Ange not to leave.
I failed.

The reason Ange has left is because she felt let down on here and that she had no support.

Ange was always there for eveyone and always giving advice but never asking for anything in return. She was a kind perso to everyone. She knew who she could joke with and we laughed back.

However she told me she was going and the reason why. I tried hard to stop her but she was very upset and felt she was let down.

Someone wrote something on a post. It hurt Ange as it was somewhat racial. Ange was upset because she she had family came from there. That is what hurt her so much.

She felt she was given no support as she said to me from the people who should.

Well now I have lost a friend and it hurts like hell.


To the person concerned

Are you proud of yourself? Are you sure? You should be shouldn't you?

You should be very ashamed of yourself. Not you though you will just carry on hurting people no matter what. You don't seem to care who you hurt do you?

I want to tell you something else Don't you ever come running to me again and tell me you are in trouble. In fact don't you ever reply to any of my posts or Threads.

I agree with del.... the quicker people are able to report to the Mods when someone is causing offence to others the better. .. so that action can be taken.

We know everyone has bad days.... and yes we all get irritable and short tempered at times because of the pain......but that is no excuse for anyone making offensive or racist remarks.!! and I for one find that unacceptable and inexcusable.

It should be the 'offender' who leaves or is banned by AC... not the good peeps like you who have been hurt by their remarks.

The forum is a lifeline to many and should be a place that is safe to be in. There is no room here for bigotry, bullying or racism in any form.

Please ange... don't leave because of this!. You are one lovely lady whose good advice and sensitivity towards others is deeply valued by so many of us here and would be sorely missed.
