Hi, sorry can't help with the info, but just wanted to say that I can understand your worry and confusion. Being the weekend it's more difficult to contact people for advice. I think I might ring the hospital switchboard and ask if they have any out patient clinics as you'r confused. They may be able to give you a very rough idea, sorry thats the only thing I can think of, but I do know that some hospitals have a small outpatient section for certain things. Give Jorden a kiss and a hug and one for you! xxxxx((((())))((((()))). Hope you can find something out quickly. Loads of love Sue xxx0

Hi
I would ring and check as unfortunately hospitals aren't infallible
However there is a specialist Paediatric and Adolescent Rheumatology services outpatient clinic there so i'm guessing thats why you've got a referral
They have a website if you want to google it
Hope that helps

Hi jenny
I am hoping Jordan has been referred there as it is the very very best for him
Love Toni xx
Ps can you tell him Charlotte had her MRI on her brain on thursday and she lived to tell the tale - thanks0 -
Hi jenny,
hope the advice from chrissie about there being a specialist paediatric unit there has helped reduce your anxiety.?
... but phoning them tomorrow would certainly answer any remnants of doubt you might have about it being the right hospital for Jordan.
hope that Jordan is having an OK weekend? and that your own health is better too.

Hi I'm glad that you have sorted out that problem. I used to live in Oxford, where their are quite a lot of hospitals and I used to have to to to the maternity hospital for outpaitiants gynea!!! I think they do it just to confuse us!!! I think you are right to give them a ring just to be on the safe side. Good Luck to you and Jorden tomorrrow, Lots of love to you both Sue xxxx (((((())))))0

I go to the Min in Bath and have done from the very beginning, (since being referred there by my G.P. )There are lots of different outpatient clinics for different types of arthritis and everyone has always been lovely and very helpful - just the time between appointments seems to stretch for longer than they say it will!! But they will hurry things up if you are having problems. I also teach a boy who goes there and he seems to be doing fine. Just be aware that there is no parking on the site and you will have to park in one of the pay and display carparks but they are really near to the hospital.
Jenny. (another one!)0 -
I hate it when it is not clear what you are being referred for. It's happened to me when I though was being referred to rheumatology but actually it was a physio triage appointment to assess where to refer me to  Very annoying and confusing. Why don't you ring them up and find out what to expect on the day?0

oh dear i have just finished on the phone as if i haven't enough to do , i will explain firstly phoned bath hospital they told me it was a refferal (sp) for the pain assesment clinic for inpatient treatment  so i told them that it was for a second opinion by dr clinch but they were adament it was for pain treatment and told me to get back in touch with my own hospital so next phone call was to jordans rhummy nurse who told me the referal was to bristol to see dr clinch for a second opinion and was told to phone back bath hospital to check that it wasn't for outpatients as pain management was not asked for, so phone call number 3 back to bath to be told that they had already got funding and i was wasting valuable money  and that they would take him off the waiting list and refer back to own hospital  so phone call number 4 back to rhummy nurse to explain what they said to me now i am waiting to hear what is going to happen as rhummy nurse said she would sort it out :x :x :x :x :x all in all a busy day, hope everyone else is having a better day than mine.0

I hope that the Rheumy nurse gets it sorted
I hate the incompetence of NHS bureaucracy sometimes I can't believe how confusing they can make it and then blame you for their incompetencies. As if sorting out the illness wasn't stressful enough. Good luck
