Side effects of Humira

Anyone find that Humira causes them to be cold a lot? I'm sat with the heating on and under a blanket but still shivery like I'm coming down with something but been like this for few weeks.
Just wondering if it's just me or whether it's the Humira?
Can't wait for Tuesday - meeting my GP for some lovely sleepy tablets, I might get some sleep, yay!

Oh Jen... you made me smile with your description of meeting with your doc. I've now got a vision of you meeting him in a cafe somewhere!
Cold :?: :!: I am always cold too.... but as I've been off Humira for 6mths I guess it's not that.
I've no real idea why.... but wonder if it's to do with us having inflammatory conditions?

Hi , Jenzie , I also feel the cold a lot and assumed it was just me ! My lovely husband always tells me , ' of course you feel cold , only natural if you don't feel well . ' , guess it's just another little nuisance to deal with ! Hope you get your decent nights sleep soon ; Jilly0

I feel the cold. I was worse before taking the Humira probably because my mobility was so restricted. Shivering made the pain worse.
Best wishes

Hi Jenzie
My temperature mechanism is pretty well shot anyhow and I can't be sure how much of it, if any, was down to the Humira.
Would be worth mentioning to the rheumy nurse perhaps?
I saw from your previous post that you weren't sure if it was helping you at all yet - really hope you do start to see some benefits soon.
Good luck at the docs on Tuesday. Hope you do get those "sleepy tablets".

Tilly, I always feel the cold and I've got the heating on all the time at the mo. Even though I'm on humira I don't think that's what causes it with me. I think it's more likely that we have some sort of inflammation all the time and it's like living with a low grade fever. That and the limited mobility we get.
My hands are the worst for getting cold and stiff so when I need to type in the colder months I have a pair of fingerless gloves at the ready. I think I look really sexy in them. :P0
