started out as a good day, my mother-in-law had bought me some scented microwavable wheatbag slippers and for just 1 min in the microwave i got up to a lovely hot brew and some comfy cosy toes...

...only to do the school run with hubby and have the car door slam on my leg/foot as i was trying to get in the car

in agony now, guess its a few hours rest before i tackle any jobs later... NOT how i wanted to start the week

hope you are all having better days x

it cant get any worse really can it?? then again.... i shall think positive.

im using my pretty purple walking stick in one hand and i have a 'grabber' to get the stuff off the floors so at least im up and about...

dont fancy having that happen again though, it was enough to make me scream aloud

    hopefully it wont bruise...

    Oh dippy
You poor thing, keep putting ice on it to stop the bruising, and never mind the homework.

    Ouch, Dippy,

That sounds horrenduous. What an accident. I do hope it all improves for you soon. Ice seems a good suggestion if there is bruising/swelling. Try to rest the leg if you are able. It is so frustrating when something like that happens. I can understand how you are feeling.

The happiest people don't have the best of everything. They just make the best of everything.

If you can lay down at night knowing in your heart that you made someone's day just a little bit better, you know you had a good day.

ouch Dippy that sounded so painful

It is the one thing I am always scared of , Hubbies car door trapping my leg as his car is parked on a slope.

    Hope it feels better soon.

thanks peeps :) im feeling loads better, i felt better after just having a moan to be honest. thankfully no swelling and its not sore anymore, just the usual arthur pains...

i did get to rest it thanks to my hubby, sat watching jeremy soddin kyle (i know i know but its so bad, its good lol) whilst having my breakfast and a hot cuppa.

ive even managed a gentle 15 min walk this afternoon so im done for the day now, resting till the boys come home from school.

Omg Dippy, I felt sick when I read what you'd done.

Put ice on it NOW and keep it raised for the day. DO NOT DO HOUSEWORK!!
