I still think ATOS the govenments agents for implemeting these changes are out of order in how they work and treat people going in front of them and they should be ashamed and I think a protest outside their place in my area which is Nottingham might be a way of highlighting the appaling treatment of people. Regarding ESA incap etc surely this treatment infringes on human rights and some peeops have had awards for life indefinite how can these be overturned what does anyone think im getting sick of reading about benefit scroungers what about tax evaders and MPs expensess???

Absolutely Crisov. I agree with everything you say,
ElizabethNever be bullied into silence.
Never allow yourself to be made a victim.
Accept no ones definition of your life
Define yourself........

I agree with sentiments 'until its in our own back yard and affecting us we offer no action' but it will most prob be coming to our back yard soon
I once worked for a local govmnt public dept and they said you will be privatised and lose jobs but unions said you cant do anything yet its only talk wait until it happens but i said just the fact it is being threatned should make us fight against it it went ahead with a loss of many jobs any action was to late ps ive written to my MP again????0 -

Chrisov I completely agree with everything you say, its disgusting, how the sick are being treated. Did you see Philip Green the Director of Top Shop on the TV, he produced a report for the government on how they could save money, he was horrified at how much each government department wasted. His report showed the government how they could save millions by being more efficient, without losing a single job. So why on earth do they not sort their own departments out before trying to make the sick poorer.!

Couldn't agree with you more. It seems all the problems of debt are being laid at the door of the poor, the sick and the disabled. It's appalling. Perhaps someone needs to start an online petition? I can hardly get to my local hospital, never mind Nottingham.0

I completely agree with you chrisov :!: :!:
ATOS are doing the governments bidding and it's government policy to bring down the numbers of people on ESA and the old Incapacity Benefit.
Alanmancunian posted on CC about this Wednesday's forecast announcement by George Osborne on yet more benefits being cut... possibly including an announcement on DLA
... folks we are in for a very bad time.
If there was a protest here I would join it too.

Yes, I agree too - I have a friend who had an accident a couple of years ago, is now bedridden due to his terrible injuries & still has to struggle to retain every penny of help he gets.
The press are also targeting the poor, sick and less able to help the government make them the pariahs of society to try & distract away from the mistakes they have made with our economy & financial organizations.
Salamander, you are so right!

Lets start with cut backs at the source of waste, make all MPs who steal from the system pay back.....Instead of making the disabled suffer. They're spending millions employing people at ATOS medicals then if they knock you back they pay for all the appeals, then they pay the jobcentre to find you a job that does not exist, then they have some multimillionaire teaching people how to write CVs, they would be better leaving most of them on the benefits, then they pay multi millions for computers to make the whole system better, that no one can use, and they leave all our information on buses and in taxis and sometimes in the bin?? They waste billions and instead of them taking a cut, or taking off the rich, they take off the most vulnerable in society.
I would take a job tomorrow, if they get me a closomat toilet installed for my use, give me a full time carer to put on my bra pull up my pants jeans, get me up shower dress me, type for me answer the phone as I cant bend my arms to put a phone to my ear, and give me hors to suit as some days it takes me hours to unlock my elbow and knee, I would make a great medical receptionist, they love shouting out everyones business round the place, I would have to have the phone on loudspeaker, so when poor Mr Jones rings up with Piles everyone would hear....lol cant wait for my medical, bet they deem me fit for work!!!!!0
