enbrel tried to explode my liver in December 06/January07, so I was taken off everything I was taking at the time. I got out of bed in April. They were the worst three months of this malarkey to date. I wish you well - remember we are all different and it could be easier for you. DD
Have you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben

I stopped enbrel 6 weeks ago and switched back to humira. I wouldn't exactly say I had side effects but the enbrel wore off quickly and I'm still waiting for humira to fully work (although it is getting there). In a sense I could say I had withdrawal from enbrel because it stopped working quickly and arthur came back with a vengeance but that's not a side effect. What makes you think you've got side effects?

I've come off Embrel a couple of times. Each time it took about seven weeks for the positive effects to wear off, but when they did the flare came on quickly. I had no other side effects. I'm on Humira now, which I don't find as good, but which they moved me to as it is a treatment for Crohn's as well.
