getting near mikes Jr operation

hi all , still no car I will be posting from hospital how mike JR is doing is that ok .

he is getting scared now its on tuesday afternoon and all being well mike hopes to be home for Saturday ( kids recover very quick )

    I have a note to check in with you on monday to see if you are all ok - I know it will be very hard on you too :(

    He will be home 10:1 as you say kids seem to bounce back.

    Bless him he is bound to be worried but I hope he will be able to relax before hand. Can you do something to take his mind off it?

    I hope you and Sheila are coping ok and she is getting some decent treatment and help? You all take care and will thinking of you. Cris x

    All good wishes for Mike Jr for Tuesday.......like you say, kids do bounce back very quickly, so hope he's home as planned.

    thank you all for wishing my son all the best for his operation he was very nervous but we had a talk and I have put his mind at rest ( he thought he was going to die ) I told him noway the surgeons are very skilled and he will be ok , he is now all set for the op , he just hopes this is going to be fixed this time as he is tired with the surgery being done again .

    Wishing Mike Jr all the best and lots of support to you and his Mum too. At least there is more to do on a children's ward than an adults ... and then once he is home - prepare to entertain!!

    I have had OA since mid twenties. It affects my hips and knees. I had a THR on the left aged 30 and now have a resurface-replacement on the right - done May 2010.

    I posted on your car thread the other day. I know he will be feeling nervous and you will too. He will just be happy when it is all over. Until then I can understand how he feels poor thing.

    Have you got a special present lined up for him?As a reward for being so brave and something positive to look forward too.

    Thank you so much for the support , my son loves reading this web site . Mike JR just hopes that this will be the last operation , hes forgot the counslant said that he can only make him comfortable walking .

    I will post tomorrow from the hospital on how things went on if I can.
