Hi DD, thanks for your message. Didn't see it yesterday, sorry. Yes, my knee is improving thanks. Feel as if I might have a couple of passable days before I start dropping down my steroids on Wednesday lol! Got council coming round this morning to 'assess' me again. Not sure what they can do as have got aids around the house but might talk to them about my difficulties getting about in a flare though did actually manage to get to a party on Saturday. Was treated to a lovely meal. Decided to take pain killers and alcohol (not to be advised peeps) but I had a very nice evening thanks lol! Certainly took the pain away. And I was bought home in a cab. Cheered me up no end.
So, fingers crossed, I might have a couple of easier weeks ahead of me.
How are you doing yourself? Any more trips to the theatre?

I am glad you went out, a change of scene is always a good thing and it can help to take one's mind off it all. We have a lovely day here today, bright and cold and very sunny, that helps too! I hope the visit goes OK and that they are able to help further in some way. Please let us know how you get on. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

Yes, it is lovely here. I've really missed my autumn walks this year.
Visit was useful this morning, might be able to get a bit of help further down the line. She completely got the variable nature of the arthritis, that there are times when I can manage and times when I can't. Also understood the emotional impact of it. Felt a bit drained by the time she left.
We'll see......!
How are things with you DD?0
