To all who replied to my post with very helpful advice and those who just welcomed me , this is just to say thank you.I am sorry for the delay in replying .I have been given very positive yes from my podiatrist , but have yet to see my G P to get her reaction to the specialists advice .
I hope to have some positive news soon,Joan

    I missed your post but would like to welcome you to the forum and hope that you do get some positive news soon. Please do let us know how you go on. :) I could not have helped on your question about ankle fusion because I have not had one or know of anyone who has.

    I see you love gardening, so do I. We have an allotment too. :) I am there digging over when I am able and the weather is ok too. :)

    I am pleased to know my answer got back to those of you have replied I am afraid I am still getting in a bit of a muddle ,but will persevere and will soon be posting intelligent comments ,I find the Forum so interesting and helpful . joan
