Tribunal today

Well its over. It took one hour and 45minuits. The usual is just 45 minutes. I had just loads of questions asked me. The lady said it was just usually just 12 or so. My welfare lady had never known a tribunal go over time that long or me being asked so many questions.
The barrister and doctor were good though and said if i need a break, drink or walk about to please feel free. As i said the doc at the first assessment had not let me speak and was rude. The barrister told me he would ask me questions to find the truth. If he seemed rude or i found it upsetting he told me to tell him there and then so he could sort it out with me face to face rather than getting a letter which nothing could be done about. I agreed he was great they both were. I left we shook hands parting and i thanked him for his time and told him he had been good to me.
He has told me that as they ran over time the verdict would not be today not tomorrow but wednesday i will get it in the post. not the 48 hour everyone else has got but i apprechiate him telling me.
I get the feeling i was not an easy case to decide on. I was also relived to get a phone call from husbend to tell me he could indeed be with me at the hearing. He had been told no before.
I met him there seeing him was a welcome sight. I have had a headache all day in the morning i keep visiting the loo and when i got to the place. I felt sick. The welfare lady wondered if i was cold as i rubbed my arms a lot and looked pale. I told her my arm hurt and legs.
My husbend being there helped as he got spoken to at the end. He sees me more than anyone i just hope they listened. Now im just waiting will keep u all informed how i get on thanks for all your support it was great to know u were all in my pocket love joanne

Aw dear Joanne
What a day for you, I bet you were so relieved to see hubby there. I can well understand that you were nervous and that was probably why you got the headache etc. It is good that the barrister and doctor were understanding. I sincerely hope that you receive positive news on Wednesday. Try not to worry, easy for me to say, what will be, will be. Try to put it out of your mind until you hear and take it from there.
Love

Hi Joanne,
I am glad you hubby was able to be there and it does sound as though they might have been listening. I will keep everything crossed for you and sending a ((( ))) and a hope. Love Cris xx0 -
Hi Joanne,
Have only just read your postings about this 'trial' (which they call a tribunal) you've had to suffer. It makes me so cross that a lot of fit and able can just put their hand out and everything they need is there.
I can imagine how you felt when you saw your husband - it's amazing that most of the time we just don't see the support that they are to us but moments like his being there when you needed him, are what 'married' is all about. I was so glad for you.
What an ordeal you've been through! I hope you've managed to have a good night's sleep and I'll be wishing like hell that the result is positive.

I'm glad it's all over for you and that you feel you were given a fair hearing. ...

ps. dolittle.... hope those hands ease up! don't worry about posting...just take care.. Iris xxxxx0 -
Hi, I'm really glad that its over for your sake. It sounds as if they were as helpful as they could be in the circumstances and that must have helped you.
Now, we'll all have to keep everything crossed  well, almost everything, and hope and pray for a positive answer. I'm not going to speculate on that for you, as I'm superstisious(sp), Just wish you as much luck as you need! loads of love and a hug ((((()))))xxx

You'll be relieved when it's all over.
Here's hoping you receive some good news.
