Hi Phoebe had her usual eye check today but was found to have slight swelling in her left eye. So she is on eye drops now. Have phoned hospital because Dr wood said about maybe putting her back on medication if her eyes flared up. She had a joint injection on 21st october has complained of differnet joints hurting her on 28/10 it was her hips and sides, on 29/10 it was her back and on 30/10 it was the joint that had been injected. Thought she was going to be in remission but dosen't look like it now. :(

Hope everyone is alright and hopefully no joint pains for the kids.

Would be nice to come, might leave eldest at home with husband and just take phoebe. Be nice to meet you in person. Took about 3 attempts to get drop to go in her eye. Eye dr said to get her to close her eyes and then to put drop on corner of her eye and then when she opened her eye the drop would go in.

Oh hun hugs, it's horrible having to deal with this and follow up all the many appointments they have then to be told ok this is back or this has happened etc. We've got that check tomorrow and I'm livid as it's been 6 months yet when I mentioned it to Bristol hossie (wasn't dr clinch) they said oh she's been fine before I wouldn't worry about it. Hmmm if something does ever show up would they still feel the same way. grrrr

Anyway detracting from your post here sorry hun, I hope the drops work and settles things hugs

I am struggling to give her the drops she's not keen on them, gonna give it a couple of days then phone LGI and speak to Dr wood. I don't think they relise just how difficult it is to put drops in a child that dosen't want them. When i spoke to a specialist yesterday who phoened me she said that if she hasn't cleared up when she goes back to eye clinic then they will prop put her back on methotrexate long term. She got up complaining of the middle of her spine hurting, have now started writing down when she complains of pain in her joints to give to specialist next time we go.

How are things at the moment? Did you have to contact your hossie? I hope this chill in the air isn't hit them all too bad. hugs

Hi sorry it's taken so long, didn't need to contact them eventually she let me give her the eye drops, come tuesday it's 4 week since they checked. Supposed to be going back 3-4 weeks so will be going back when she looks at you she seems to look really sleepy and squints at you.
