Hi All
I am an arthritis sufferer but also suffer from auto immune disease, urticaria and angioedema.....Ive been not bad over the summer but since its turned cold my symptoms have got worse...
Currently have to resort to menthol nasal spray which i know i shouldnt use but get congestion daily and quite a lot day and night. Also got blocked saliva glands in mouth, one on right cheek, and some under my tongue, i have to try and pop these but they come back......Got itchy eyes too and get little tiny blisters on eyelid rims...I thought that with hotter weather id be suffering less but it seems not....Think maybe central heating plays a part and i use pillow/mattress protectors etc...
Boy do i need to go back to immunology dept at Preston...
Bit hacked off with symptoms at mo.....

Hi, Maybe its the dry air that we tend to get from heating. Sounds really nasty. Love Sue0

Hi Elaine, hope your appointment comes through soon.
You could try a dish of water on the radiator to humidify the air.
SpeedyI have had OA since mid twenties. It affects my hips and knees. I had a THR on the left aged 30 and now have a resurface-replacement on the right - done May 2010.0 -

Hi, I hope the meds work for you. Sounds as if the cure was worse than the complaint before! Love Sue0
