This is my Life!

Forget your Peter and Jordan and Sonia out of Eastenders having her baby (I'm sure she's had it, hasn't she??), they should do a documentary of MY life. Believe me, it would make fascinating viewing AND make everyone laugh. Here's a snapshot:
- Having spent two weeks away from the office, it's taken me ALL DAY just to read through my emails and post.
- Now having sorted through my emails and post, it's going to take me another week to do the work created by them. In the meantime, more work will pile up.
- I've already had to deal with a staffing issue - one of the officers made a member of my team cry :?
- I've booked in several meetings for next week related to work and school governor matters, there was only one cancellation
- I've arranged travel and accomodation to the conference I'm attending in Lancs tomorrow and Thursday
- I've arranged childcare for those two days because we thought it would be a good idea if my hubby spent an extra week in India with his family ((STOOPID IDEA, we're not doing that again))
- I've fielded many calls and requests for my time and refused most of them because I'm not in work now till Friday and explained that I do have to use the toilet every now and again!!!
- I've had a lengthly meeting with my new line manager (another restructure) to explain my department and all the changes. I wouldn't mind, but I'll probably be explaining everything to someone else this time next week
- Tried to work out what the new budget cuts mean for our department and for E&D, scary stuff but stuff I need to keep on top of
- Finished my assignment for my OU course - nearly
- Decided I am NOT stopping late tonight as I need to spend time with my girls as I won't see them from tomorrow morning till Thursday night.
Anyone want to swap lives??? Oh and I found out that I didn't get the job I applied for before I went to India
It's not been the best of days really. I'm off home to get DRUNK.

I'm sure that if you wern't doing all that you would only be up to no good like knocking off policeman's helmets or writing Bum on the wall At least it's keeping you out of mischief0

Never mind, Nina. I always knew you were Superwoman in disguise :!:
You'll cope-you always do
You are a fantastic role model for your girls ( well perhaps not the getting drunk bit
)
