Tester commented on how good the front brakes were, they are fierce, mono block Brembos like the MotoGP guys 😬. They do tend to munch through brake pads fairly quickly though.

Vc poem called “LA’s fantasy life” or “LA opts to cut his cheese with a surgeon’s scalpel, not a chef’s knife”
LA has recently discovered that cakes can be made of cheese
And that cheese pasties can grow off oak trees
Porridge is sprinkled with cinnamon otherwise known as fairy dust gathered by toady the landlady
If rent money’s been spent, she’ll happily accept a jelly baby
As payment for shelter, payment for sins,
And if grandad has backache he’ll ask BR to empty the bins
JA’s cucumber sandwiches are fed to the bats
And mima has given toady some phantom - neighbour- unfriendly nosegay door mats
Toni’s cashew cheese is met with suspicion
I say, “But it’s so good for you” - but cheeky young LA snorts in derision
“LA”, I say, “ Don’t drink SK’s coffee, that’s not for little boys”, he retorts,” Why should I listen to you Mima? When you make me do my English homework instead of letting me play with my cobra snake toys”

I'm afraid the 'proper post soon' bit will be unavoidably detained 😬 my time management skills have gone up the creek again 😱

Hope your day was less busy than yesterday frog (stupid phone batteries 😣), mine is going as follows, phone call today injection tomorrow, an appointment Thurs and another Fri (not medical ones just things like opticians, but silly timing, it was not all my fault). Front garden to finish later as only one neighbourless day to go and Weds, after meds, isn't really ideal. Daffodils, well neglect them probably is my usual as I don't have many as a rule 😳 having had some extras this year I will attend to them better. I asked partly because I saw a quick headline about someone was pro tying them up and someone anti but I didn't read the whole thing. Nothing else doing, and no rain for me I'd rather not either til the weekend. Love to everyone and more chat when poss 😘 xx

Hello Joan I hope your blood results tell them something definite 👍️ I expect you will get them soon as it's a new week. My phone call was ok thank you but no charity collection 😔 they say from 8 onwards then all day; I put it out about half 8 must have missed them but I've never known them that early. Great poem I think that neatly shines a light a lot of life's important truths and its injustices too 😁 definitely need the mima doormats today, although the phantom neighbours are away someone came in instead to mow the lawn & generally make some noise, so it was no holiday for toady 🙄. Morning Joan I'll be picking up Sleek's meds from the vet today thank goodness. Hopefully it will keep her steady for a good while yet. We have a very good vet who has known her since she was a kitten and Eric before her. I trust her. Hope you and Pepper are doing ok ((())) xxx

Great poem! Where do you get them from? LA didn't know about cheesecake now he does he'll be getting his 'fix' in any which way he can😂 has he tried cashew cheese? Some of it is fantastic, but if needs be he can buy manufactured probably coconut ones in supermarkets too.

Sleek pays my rent to the landlady not me i am after all only the cleaner. Did you know that? Well it's true or it was when valval invented the cafe way back when.

Keep going in the front garden it needs finishing before the neighbours return. Is it a big space? Ours is definitely smaller than the back and quite simple but still takes time.

I also have very few daffs and prefer nature to take it's course but if I am tidying typing is my preferred option even if it isn't the best method.

Sleek will have her medicine today I will fetch it after the foodbank - it's on the same road luckily. Hopefully she won't even notice.

Hi all, just another quick one while I continue in blue-tailed fly mode 😬

I am gaining frog (I think), and yes I even fitted a good bit of front-gardening in this morning before a really thundery cloudburst this afternoon 😮 was not expecting. No it's not a big front garden but then neither am I 😄 so it's enough, hedges and front lawn and a side bit of lawn as well on the other side of the drive which I sort of wish wasn't mine - except at least it's a bit more grass in the street. I get lots of mini grasshoppers I've probably said, I leave a long bit for them. Sun is out now though 👍️ who wants rain when you can have a dear Elfie to water your 'delphiniums blue', look at him 😍 and a sunny spot for Sleek 😘. Hope you have the meds now, and that foodbank & things fitted in conveniently like you said. Have a good evening - I will go and get my catsi booked for tomorrow assuming the app hasn't gone to pot like these things do when you need them - love to all 😘 xx

Thank you Joan I can drop my charity things off myself tomorrow as I will be in a taxi anyway 👍️ nothing else has gone wrong really only me booking 2 appointments too close together, so that's my lookout 😄. But it gets them done and the weather will be wet after Friday so I would rather do them now on the whole. Where do you go to see the Dr, the 2nd of June one? I've done Sleek's new medicine it's something you squeeze onto her food supposed to be tasteless and not smell even I can smell it and I am not a cat. No way could I give it her whole though this is it by my little finger. She has cat tuna to eat and I can smell it through that🤢 We'll see eh? Hope you and Pepper are ok?

Love the little gargoyle he is rather sweet even if he is feeling grumpy. Paul does that all the time - misses the lids off the pans as they are still by the hob, but I reckon it is very slightly deliberate. They are still there the next day for yours truly to deal with🙄

Morning Toady well done making good progress with the front garden. Did you hear the grasshoppers? Do you ever actually manage to get a good look at them? When we go to France (later this year and yes Elfie wants to come too) I can hear them everywhere I love the sound. Very good leaving them some space.

Elfie loves watering. He was a tad miffed when that rain came. Wasn't it fabulous though the smell!!!! I love rain after a prolonged dry spell. He chose to do his banking while he was trapped indoors

Pic of Sleeks medicine above next to my little finger. Not sure it's going down so well in her food. I am warning you as no doubt you'll hear all about it. Do feel free to give her treats as normal I checked it's ok. I did buy some renal ones but oh no!😂

Yes I’m less crackered than yesterday thanks

It was impossible to rest during the day due to cleaners etc

So about 8 pm i finally got to lie down and slept for two hours

Night wasn’t too bad actually, I think it was as it was a bit cooler than other nights so I slept well in the end

EF are coming tomorrow approximate ETA 5 pm lol

But the littleys are staying not just overnight but for about 6 days - they’ll leave on Wednesday triple ook 😱😱😱
