Can I ask (assuming the question hasn't been raised before) is the cafe 'licensed for the sale of intoxicating liquor'.
I won't drink tea for health reasons,if I can quote from William Cobbett's Cottage Economy of 1822 viz;-

' I view the tea drinking as a destroyer of health,an enfeebler of the frame,an engenderer of effeminancy and laziness,a debaucher of youth and maker of misery for old age'

He then advocates the drinking of beer rather than the making of tea.Who am I to argue?

This is the best virtual cafe you will find dear friends...
There is no alcohol permitted in here young fellow.. For that you need to frequent the Cane & Able (to be found on another thread) but be warned, the bunker babes that loiter there will devour a newbie if one is not careful.. :shock: :shock:
When you enter, the bouncer checks you for weapons and if you don't have a knife he'll lend you one.... :eek:
It's a worse sideshow than the bar in Star Wars.. Lol

Now.... I care not a jot what has been said, I'm putting some tea on.

Finally got up and got myself sorted. I am still studying today but I thought I would pop in for a cup of coffee before I get started.

Without whistling this entry into the Cane & Able via said secret (shh, don't remind the wimmin about it) tunnel is not safely garaunteed.. Fat Kev may bop you on the head with one of his crusty slippers thinking you are there to steal a pickled egg circa 1753.. :shock:

Think I will definitely give the tunnel a miss. Dont need much to get me pickled anymore. One sniff of a glass of wine and I am one my back with legs in the air. I cant handle it anymore

Well I am afraid I cannot get comfy any longer and am exhausted so will leave the vats of tea on and some hot chocolate and nasty coffee..
Maltesers are in the fridge for matron
Got a few logs on the fire, oven is on keeping some spicey chicken wings warm...

Hope everyone is resting well, knees behaving, or at least not giving too much jip. Thanks for the maltesers T, I will eat them as soon as I possibly can. Matron is most obliged. Have been nattering to the neighbour, going through the mill at the moment, so we keep an eye out for her and help as much as we can. Well, I offer the T and a listening ear.
Now, it is very late. I have been all at odds today, did not wake up until 11, which is not good for the endless heart and pain pill regime, was all out of sync and upset. Anyway, am back on track again now, I think :roll:
Will set at least 2 alarms for the morning, want to be out early ish, going for a drive and a nosy round an antique place, wheelchair is all ready to go, best be very careful in my chair, with all the valuables. OH will just park me in the cafe if I am a liability.

The pain has me defeated at the minute, was having a nice sleep until I woke with it... Will get logs on the fire and make some tea... Watch the fire roar for a while... Play angry birds on mi phone
