Good evening one and all hope you are all as well as can be, have spent a lovely afternoon having a picnic down by the river with OH and daughter now for a nice cuppa T and some meds any one else for a drink while the kettle's on. I'm by the window wathcing the world go by

hi all just sneaked in for tea did dads grass today so he wont get tempted lucky there not much of it only took 5 mins front and back he getting there but you know what it like when job stareing you in face you just have to do it well it ok for couple more weeks pitty did not get around to mine lol always tomorrow if it does not rain val

A late evening to one and all, hope everyone is as ok as possible. The picnic by the river sounds great, been wet and wild here today, wind still howling round. Had the heating on earlier and it's the middle of May :shock:
I will put the kettle on and sit by the window with Cuddles with a cup of T

I hope everyone had a good night. Val you so are right to sit by the sea is my favorite one, I could just drift off. Got the kettle on for a nice cuppa so if anyone is up it's here and waiting, I am going to sit by the fire.
My and my daughter were in histerics yesterday, I was watching a film, Sancuary(it was a series on the telly) my daughter came in and asked what I was waching and I replied sanitary, I think we both nearly had an accident. But boy did it do me good.

Iv come in for some piece and quiet....these men appeared outside of our house at 7 30 this morning :shock: drilling the road....I tell you I was so near going out and ######they are still there what a flipping racket....I will have a strong coffee and just sit by the window.....how lovely and quite thanks for the laugh Karen...that is brilliant..

Poor you Barbara, and on a sunday morning, didn't think they were allowed they were allowed to start that early especially on a sunday, here's a very strong black coffee, and I will join you with my cuppa.

just had a huge chicken sunday dinner and im stuffed, (most ive eaten in ages) so going to have a cuppa and put my feet up by the window and watch the world go by. hope everyone is ok

Hi Karen Barbara Joan Coco - not forgetting any other callers to the cafe. I hope everyone is having a fair day, minus the weather, storm winds and driving rain and hail here in not so sunny Lancashire.

Had an abusive phone call, which shook me up a bit - such foul mouths youngsters have :shock: :shock:

I will pile up the hugs for everyone to help themselves to, while I have a cup of T and keep and eye on the weather. Who am I Wincy Willis

i will join you in a cuppa, im still stuffed so wont be doing much yet, got washing on the line, its blowing a gale today so im making the most of trying to dry it all inbetween showers,

One large cup of T, coming right up. I did hang up, but was so shocked I said "what did you just say"? - wish I hadn't asked. Kids must just dial random numbers as we are x directory.
Glad that you are getting your washing dry, I think ours would be 10 doors up if I tried to put it out on the airer.

They are very unnerving, we used to get them before, sometimes at 4 in the morning, which in my book is a time that signals "something is wrong". I reported the calls to BT and they gave us the block any call choice, which worked a treat, even if the number is withheld.
Kids seem to think it is highly amusing. BT said, you can take the person to court if needs be.
Hopefully it was a one off and that you are having a pleasant Sunday Val.
