Was meant to be going to Brighton today, but Tony and the girls went without me. Last two days had really bad back, didn't think I could cope with walking around.

Well I've been up since 2 am after having a couple of hours sleep, laid around for an hour and a half (would like to say toss & turned but I'm stuck with sleeping on my back :sad:) but wasn't able to go back to sleep, just as I was saying how lovely it was over the last couple of days to have 6 hours sleep. Oh well I shall make myself a nice cup of tea and sit quietly in the corner, if anyone else can't sleep come on over & join me Sue x

Good morning one and all, sorry I've not been around much. As well as suffering with pain in my hands I've been busy trying to get chores done, spending time with family and the like... Lol

I've hardly turned the pc on as it's awkward to use sometimes so when I am online its via the mobile, as I've mentioned before this can be awkward in it's own way..

Anyway, hope that everyone is alright..

I'm filling the vats up, getting the breakfasts ready and plumping the cushions on the chairs. Gonna be another lovely day.

I avoided going out in the sun yesterday, which is unusual for me being a sun worshipper but that really was too hot. I wish i'd made it to Glastonbury this year.

I was a sun worshipper till I settled down and had the girls. Now I just can't do it any more. But I know the anti-deps I take cause exccessive sweating so maybe that's why, gets very uncomfortable. So I always stay in.

I think tonight is going to be very sticky, they say it will still be up in double figures. Well I for one will take a long time in getting to sleep and I bet there will quite a few others who wont be able to.

Morning all,

Still very sticky this way. I hope you did get the thunder storms to clear the air a bit. I am in need of a big glass of any kind of drink. And I think I will have some Fruit and fibre for brekkie.

Turbogran you cant be very far from me(Middlesex). I was expecting the forecast storms and flash floods but all I heard was one little rumble.
It is thankfully much cooler today. This weather makes me arthrits worse and my breathing has been troubled too.
I think strawberries and cream would be nice.Can we turn the Cafe T.V on and watch the tennis?

Thanks for the drink Karen the garden sounds very tempting.
I live on the Borders Of London and surrey elizabeth we had no thunder at all its overcast here but still quite warm. the cold weather makes my arthur worse this weather just makes me tired faster. and sometimes affects my asthma.

A nice Cuppa tea please joan not too bad a day except for 2 hours of thunder storms on and off between 1 and 3pm the time i usually go out so have spent all day in doors with the dog.

Hi Carol, has your dog must have his legs crossed if your staying in today.

We popped over to my brothers and on the way back got caught in the down pour and thunder.
