Good afternoon to one and all

Got back in just over 4hours, which is pretty good going. So hubby laid out on couch now, girls upstairs, and me getting through the washing to be done. tbh, it wasn't long enough, and me and Tonies mum get on so well together and dad as well.

Morning to everyone

Hope everyone is reasonable ok this morning. The weather looks as if it's going to stay for a while and is gorgeous. Plent of washing and ironing for me. Yuk.

I'm going to have a nice cup of tea before I start on any more. If anyone would like to join me, shall be in the garden.

Del, hope you are taking plenty of pics for us to see. Val glad you can join me, I've done the washing, payed the bills, had a general tidy now going to take some pain killers and go to bed for a while. Oh what fun we have eh. I would except feeling like this if I'd been on a big night out.

Val, you are under a lot of stress at the moment, that alone drains you, so if you need sleep take it. You obviously in need.

you could be right as not at work this weekend am sleeping all i need think it builds up then just have to sleep can not stop yawning of well was going to bath but might just got to bed love my bed (most of the time)

Val I have to ask what is a cheese cob, never heard of that before. Put the kettle on and making myself a cuppa, if anyone would like to join me.

sorry did not get back to you yes a cheese cob is a bread cob with cheese in they talk strange around here lol. if you want fish and chips you ask 4 one of each dorset where i was born they had no idea what that was looking gone out at my dad bless val

Hi Val Coco Karen Barbara and all who have been about. Humid, well, I could turn into a pool on the floor. Cannot remember it being so humid for a long time. I do remember being in New York, in August, many years ago, every time you walked outside you had to cut your way through the hot and humid air................I was awash.
Anyway, I digress.

Hugs to one and all, hope everyone is drinking plenty and keeping as cool as possible. I will leave some extra cold drinks on the trolley and plenty of cream, for those who have hives from the heat.

Going to stand by the back door, well, lean on the drainer, with the door open, see if it is any cooler.

right all doors wide open windows in conservitory open roof blinds closed water fountain turned on (need a wee now) bottles of water in fridge please keep bottles to re-use waste not want not. and foot spars filled with cool water val

Morning Val,

I think if it's going to stay (weather) we will be taking it in turns to get into the fridge our selves. I think befire that happens I will have a nice cold bottle of water, and by the opened window.

thought I would open the cafe for Val...while she is seeing to her dad...tables all cleaned fresh flowers on tables...specials board up....and there is an offer on this week...free drink with any food...
