hi everyone,
im in a private rented place. heating dont work most of the time rain comes in, damp and everything is falling apart, landlord is ******, envoromental health have been involved, spent all last winter with no heating and hot water and were doing the same agin now as its packed in again. i also pay £130 amonth out of my esa and child tax to make up the shortfall in rent, now having to choose between heating (galor gas bottles) or food. so struggling big time. all i want is somewhere warm and dry.

the woman from housing turned up, more forms to be filled. said how cold my house was, had a chat, asked her if she could offer us anything, she said she would have to talk with her manager and would call me in a few days.

its -3 in my living room now so its gona be a dad one tonight brrrr

I have another builders, time for the night meds and I'm turning in a little earlier tonight as have an early start in the morning.

Did anyone else know there was a tunnel leading from her right to the pub??
You don't even have to go outside, it's there, under the sofa.. brings you out by the bar.. I can now go from tetleys tea to vodka/gin combo in the blink of an eye... Marvelous..

Evening and warm hugs to one and all, seems an eon since I posted, with family over at the week end, then sorting out today, then snow, then panic shopping in case we ran out of cat food and bread, then the snow melted :roll:

I hope everyone is ok, sore throats? Lemon and honey, I see has been wisely given out. I should read back, but I don't think I can.

Still barking, but not as bad, last dose of steroids tomorrow, thank goodness, another 11 days of these one a day AB's, bloods, Drs, Nurses visit, fed up with it all. Anyway, let's make a cup of T.

Hi Tony, how's you, things not hurting too much I trust. Don't worry, I am sure this lot of AB's will get rid of whatever is lurking. Will be SO pleased when the steroids finish tomorrow, my skin has gone to pot on my hands, they are split and bleeding, which is a pain, but, onwards and upwards.

We've gotta stay positive eh? I'm sufferin a little tonight, too much shopping and cat litter is HEAVY, can't let my OH carry it though, apart from being un-gentlemanly (which certainly is not me ) she's got a bad heart so I've gotta do it...
Need a trolly, reckon I can borrow the meds one next time? I'll bring it straight back, promise..

PS, I will go with you through the tunnel and hold your hand if you like..

My OH carries the cat litter, for the same reasons too, that and I would fall over with a bag of Catsan on one arm. We do carry on, we have to. I get told off for pottering too much.

right, better get the medicines sorted, people will be needing warming packs and blankets as well as sleepy pills and pain relief, something for colds and coughs too.

off to take my own pills and sit warm for a minute, snowing like mad here, 2-3 inches in the last hour, OH has just had to go out and brush off the satelite dish, as the signal went.

Need T and biscuits at the thoughts.

i can barly move today ouch. i hope every one is ok. i will put logs on fire and boost it up a bit the make a brew, anyone in here lerkin about , shout now if you want a cuppa.
