Hi
Is it my imagination, but is November getting warmer :?: It's a beautiful sunny day here today, and it's very warm for the time of year.
Maybe my memory is playing tricks on me, but I remember when November always seemed like the start of winter. My memories of Bonfire Night as a child were always of having to wrap up really warmly, and huddling near the fire to keep warm. Maybe it is climate change, but November seems to be getting warmer each year.

Hope it carries on till spring

Well it was lovely and sunny here in Leeds till about ten minutes ago, the sun has dissapeared and it's turned very chilly indee, just had to go put the heating on, my legs feel like painful ice!!
I hope it doesn't rain, took me long enough to hang the washing out as mi hands are really hurting..

It's been a beautiful Autumn here, the colours do seem to have been more vivid than usual. Our Acer was literally bright red until it began to shed leaves last weekend.
Even today, which was overcast, the lighter coloured leaves seem to be glowing against darker backgrounds. I passed a park where they have dozens of autumn crocuses.........they looked wonderful. Made me feel positively poetic.

Well it never stopped raining from the minute I posted this thread :!:  So much for saying it was a beautiful day
Annie, I think the trees have been extra-colourful this year. I went for a walk through a National Trust park last Sunday, and the trees were fantastic colours. Absolutely wonderful :!:0
