Anti-TNF's Question

Had RA since I was 13 am 33 now, been through a lot of diff meds, and about 8 years altogether. Started on infliximab (back in the days when you had to have tried but not much success on the other meds before being allowed to take ant tnfs) , infusion but had a reaction to it, then went on to enbrel fro few years but wasnt working so well and on humira now for las few years, taking in combo with methotrexate which improves effectiveness aparently. Really happy on it have to say the anti tnfs are prob the most stable for me and get the best result from them.

Was really tough decision I remember originally to go on them , I was very worried but I have to say my rheumatologist was great and put it to me that yes the side effects werent widely documented but that my RA was so bad that it was really stopping me from doing much (was pretty ill and miserable!) Am very glad I did start them but the combo of them and metho was def what did it, but it was tough when I was deciding.

Aww, as you say DD don't want to hi-jack Alarkra's post.

Perhaps I'll resurrect my foot thread as it's got a loose bearing on the Cimzia.
