That's right Lynn. I also find it difficult to distinguish between posts - ones I've read or not read, the list of topics all look indistinguishable to me so I can't find what I want. There's something really inaccessible about this forum. I can't remember what the old one looked like, which is kind of good, means you were unaware of problems.

Sorry we were having a mess about on chitchat with colours But ive not done it (i think) on LWA.
I do agree though its nice to be able to play around but its hard when you have eye problems (sorry cris)you dont think unless your told about it
I honestly think peeps would have perfered loads of new smilies things to the colours, Please dont get rid of the font sizes (cant do them yet) or the bold as this does help with eye problems.

Hi Debs and Jules,
I don't mind anyone doing colours but just don't think I am ignoring you cus I just have trouble with the light on white thing and yellow I can't even see......

I can't see the light colours but the rest are ok and the light ones please use them when ever you want just I wont see them so don't think I am ignoring you.

Val please open the new cafe soon! xx0 -
Cris, I should have thought, I`m so sorry, but you know me when I see lilac/purple. I just love that colour!! A psychologist colleague once told me that there was something "rather meaningful" about it........Daft ****!!!!! I just like it!..........Ange.x.0

Hi Everyone
I just don't like the new forum much, as you've already said, I can't distinguish between new and old posts, they all merge into one, I can't tell if ther's been new threads. It's all very confusing
I can't do the colour writing anyway so hopefully Cris will be able to read mine from time to time :P

Think we've got the beginnings of a revolution here
A bit of tweaking would probably sort it all out. I'm surprised accessibility wasn't a priority on a health related forum! You should know better AC!0 -
I have let the web manager know there is a problem, and meantime I am doing all my posts in bold. Hopefully he will get back to us early next week. It is not just you guys, I am having a bit of a problem, too

Think the background colour needs changing , this white is straining to the eyes .....lots of wasted space at the sides or is that just my computer setting?0
-
i find it strains my eyes thought it was because i have had head cold and eyes sore but might not be only me having probs valval0
-
The white at the side is glaring and must be uncomfortable for those who do have eye problems - wearing lightly-tinted sunglasses might help that: that is not a facetious suggestion, I am quite serious, it's like the coloured lenses that some dyslexics find helpful, it reduces the glare. You can change the background colour on browser. Go to Tools/Options/Content/Colours Change background colour and untick Use System Colours and Allow pages to use their colour colours. I've got a very nice yellow at the mo. Only problem is it will affect every web page you look at. Not a problem for me but maybe for some of you.0

Thank Sal I have tried but can't manage it ,will try again tomorrow , the white is beginning to give me a headache :?0

Something for the future perhaps, when everything else works properly. As with all computer type stuff, large site updates take a lot of time and effort to get right. I always thought that if my updates worked straight away, then I had probably left something important out.

if you spot this....can we not use our cosgan smilies anymore now?

PS have missed you - are you ok?0 -
[/quote]Not your computer setting, its the site's page settings. I have mentioned it to the webmaster who is aware of the width problem.
I just meant you can change your computer setting until it gets sorted out. A temporary solution, that's all.0
