Keys left in door again!

Well OH managed to leave the keys to house and car in the front door last night. The thieves round here are luckily not too bright! The only problem is if somebody took them away and copied them and then put them back but I doubt it.

We have been lucky,

    My hubby is a bugger for leaving the car open and the lastest one was leaving the window wide open over night with the car on the main road. He must have a charmed life. Glad nothing happened to you.

    If he is anything like my HWSBI (he who should be ignored) he will stoutly deny he had anything to do with such an event - my HWSBI also always flushes and never leaves on lights. :roll: Yeah, right!

    I have to come clean...this is my trick..I have done it at least 4 times...the last time my neighbour was the one to spot them .

    They have been left before when he has gone out early morning and occasionally for a little while but this was all night. We have an inside lock too but thieves can get past anything eventually. Also the car keys were available for any car thief. How they missed it I'll never know.
    No he hadn't been drinking but had been out with the boys to a firework party so he was probably a bit tense, having had to look after them for an hour or so.
    I didn't tell him off too much as we had a bad patch recently and I quite like how things are at the moment and didn't want to rock the boat.
    I'm sure the dogs would scare off any intruder Lynn. Have faith.
    Take care all of you and check your keys are safely indoors. I will be checking every night from now on,

    Yes Elizabeth you can save up the incident to remind him.

    My two eldest do this regularly. Luckily I am the same as you and have an inside doot with lock too :roll:
