I'm really enjoying playing with the updated forum :D

did you know we now have a members list which we can look at. I arranged mine in 'amount of posts' order - descending - and that was interesting to see who's on top  Think that could get a tad competitive

The birthday notification is also really good so we don't miss anyone. :D

The only thing I can't find is a button to see a list of particular peeps posts - before we could click on someone's profile and have a look at our fave people to see what they'd contributed. Does anyone know how we can do this or don't we have this facility anymore? :?

Anyway a big thank you Mods and the powers that be for the new look, user friendly forum.

Luv Legs :D

Hi Linda, I have to say I don't agree with you at all. Some things are easier (I like being able to see the post I am replying to) but I'm finding it really hard to see what posts I've read, what I haven't. It's a bit to similar in tone and not enough contrast. Maybe your eyes are better than mine :) but I found the last forum much easier to navigate though I do agree there are some nice features on here. For me, being able to read things on a very basic level is much more important.

    Hi Salamander,

A number of people have said the same, and I am for now posting in bold to make sure that people can read what I have typed. I have put the problem to the web manager, and I am sure he will get back to us as soon as possible.

I think that any feedback has to be good even if it's a criticism. Maybe you'll find it easier Salamander as you adjust to it - hope so. :D

I find there are more tricks on here but it is more confusing. Everything used to be easier to follow.

I think we will get used to it in time - it's only been here for a few hours. The new toys are OK, the facility to enlarge the font is very handy for those with poorer eyesight, I do find it all rather messy but I will get used to what all the little signs and emblems mean. The topic listing is OK, but the stickies are not so clearly defined now, which is a nuisance. I think it is an improvement on the old one, it will just take some getting used to, that's all. I do miss the avatars and cosgan but I daresay they will be sorted in due course. DD

    Hi Legs

I think the new forum has some great facilities on it, ...........I love that you can see all the other posts, as you are replying to a thread - that's what I missed on the old forum.

    Love from Lynn xxx

Plus Lynn have you noticed when you PM you get a history of all the PMs to that person in your Inbox if you scroll down to the bottom of the page - really useful for those of us with poor memories?

I miss as i'm shortsighted seeing the posts clear enough
to answer them on the other forum was the text size you could click.
i'm not complaining at the moment i'm using the zoom.
thank you for the new forum.

    Hi

I'm still finding my way around everything. It does seem more complicated than the old one. One thing I'm having to get used to is the new messages notification for PMs. The old forum used to say New Message clearly, but now it is very small at the top. I'm sure we will all get used to it in time.

I did that too, Linda, and discovered that I am number 6 on the list :!:  Amazing :!: :D
