    1 concrete roofing tile......

large pinch of ground white pepper......

    large piece of 'pongy' cheese.....

Cut a hole in the cheese and place pepper inside

Put cheese (with hidden pepper inside) on top of concrete roofing tile.....

    Mouse comes along.....see's cheese....

Starts 'chomping' on cheese until it 'hits' the pepper..

Sneezes so violiently smashes head on roofing tile and blows its brains everywhere.....

think mice love cheese and you can put it in a humane mouse trap....

alternatively you can borrow Daisycat for the evening?

Sorry I meant CHOCOLATE - far more than cheese

....and Tilliecat here would be only too pleased to help out - provided some of 'em are geriatric!

We had both mice and families of big, big spiders occupying the junk in our garage, so I got a couple of those plug-in ultrasonic pest repellents from off Eb*y.

I leave them permanently plugged in as they don't use much lecky to run. Mice and spiders are now long gone. Worth a try, but shop around for the best price, perhaps a twin pack which is what we had. They are for indoor use only, but plugged in near a door should work.

its a bit of a miff that mice likes cheese.
if you want to catch mice on a trap a piece of chocolate will get them.
we lived in an old farm cottage & got rid of ours on kitkats wedged onto the trap. Honest. They used chocolate spread on one of the grimefighters programmes this week baiting a trap.

thanks for very humorous replies, gave me a chuckle especially Robertis and Tink, love it! I delibratly left them a very nice chocolate bar, even unwrapped it ready!!!! did they eat it NO!! still prefere sweet peas, mouse traps on the shopping list, unfortunatly, both my cats passed away, otherwise would have shut them in there and let them enjoy the fun! will keep you informed.Mirabella
