Hi. I have noticed a few comments on this forum saying that it has gone dull etc.
I do not know what it was like before as I have not been a member for long but I do know that without this forum I would seriously have been in a bad way.
No matter how bad I feel there is always a post that makes me chuckle.
The help and support from the wise and wonderful members is, without doubt, the only thing that saved my sanity :?: :!:
I do not post much as I am a quiet person but I log-in every day and always feel better afterwards.
The changing of the forum is unsettling but I daresay it will settle down soon.
(I have only just found my way back cos I had it on my favourites and it kept coming back forum closed) :oops: :oops: :oops:

I agree with you all the way. I'm so glad I found the forum chit-chat always gives me a chuckle LWA has helped me when I have needed it, heres hoping things get back to nomal soon I miss you all.

Glad you are back then :shock: Poor you - some are still struggling back in or to negotiate their way around at the mo?

I am glad you love the forums - they are a great asset and I hope things will return to 'normal' whatever that is :?

If anyone feels the forum is 'dull' then they can always post something interesting and liven it up a bit.

Personally I like the mix, because if every post was hyper then we would soon be tired of it. Some days you need to just relax.

I'm so glad that you have posted this thread I think that everyone has been preoccupied with all the changes in the past few days, so many of the topics have been concerning that. Now that we are all getting used to the new forum, I think things will pick up again.

My reply to anyone who says that the forum is dull in any way is to try to contribute rather than talking it down. The way I see it is that the forum is a very friendly community of people, and I feel privileged to be a part of it. There is always someone there to either support you if you are feeling down, or to lift your spirits and make you smile. I have made some good friends on here, so I am always grateful that I discovered this site. This year I have been helping to raise money for Arthritis Care to make sure that it continues.

I really enjoy the forum and the only quibble I have with it is that it sometimes does take up too much time.

I try to resist it as long as I can but the forum magnet always proves too strong - must be the metal in my knees :shock: - and I find I'm back on here again :roll:

People sometimes do get a bit fed up with things on here but then that happens in all walks of life so it's bound to happen here too.

Glad you found us again Daylily - I think some other members are having the same problem as you because we have more 'Guests' looking in, as I've noticed, than ever before.

I also agree its what ever its made by the people who post. I don't read everything (legs I admire you commitment Its too time consuming and my eyes are not really up for too many xx) I think its a good place but now and then, as in life there is a bit of aggro..... That's when I tend to hide.....

I haven't been on another forum,I have looked at one but this one... I am happy with cus you lot I feel 'safe' mostly with.....

The LW one had been a life lie to me so often and the support that the folks here bring has made a huge difference to how I cope so well I juts think its a good place.

Well I can honestly say that I certainly don't find this forum dull,far from it! Wish I had found you all a year ago I went into total panick mode when I could'nt log on,couldn't sleep even,have driven web manager to dispair with my emails andphone calls,still nervous when I have to close down,in case I can't get back in :x Took 3 attempts today,Mellman,must think I am complete dir brain :oops: You are all so funny so entertaining and so helpfull and so nice and I cant think of a better way to waste all this time I have on my hands right now Even when I do eventually get back to some sort of a normal life and go back to work,if it happens! I will still be here,bugging you all,you have been my saviour of my sanity,which I know is in question! Mirabella

Why do people say this Forum is Dull.

Where are their heads up their bottoms, if it wasnt for this forum and the laughs i get when reading some of the replies to postings I would be nuts by now.
being diagnosed with OA of spine then a possitive diagnoses of RA.
Im not in good form today, but reading other messages im not to bad now, so come on folk post a good thread and we will answer them with our usual Gusto.
Being a newish member to the forum, I have got answers to questions, I dont remember to ask Dr.
Fellow contributers keep up the good work in replying to posts

This is a nice Forum. You do have to think that sometimes we are not up to posting because of being in pain or we are flaring and just dont feel well.

The people like me who have arthur in our hands and fingers well sometimes have very swollen fingers annd cannot type.

Some peeps suffer from depressin too.

It is not that it is dull but just because of arthur problems. Some are going through a bad time with benefits, some have been turned down so there are reasons that do stop people from takig part.
