Hello, I'm back! Well, after all the worrying and fussing I did the radiologist said that its nothing to worry about and in her opinion can stay. The procedure was very simple and quick, it was carried out by a youngish girl and a consultant. The girl did the examination and asked the questions. The the consultant came through and watched her for a few minites then did some herself. She said it was a cyst and could be caused by the tube when they cut it turning in and sealing itself off or some of the endomitreosis had survived and formed a cyst. She is going to recommend to the rhuemmy that I should see a gynecologist, to see if he is happy to leave it thier. But as the referring doctor its his decision. I feel much better now!
Waiting was horrible with people comming out and being sent down to radiotherapy and asking questions. I felt, right then this is it!!! but everything looks fine now. One thing though, my GP wrote to radiology and the rheummy saying that I'd had a hystorectomy with overies removed and she told me to make sure I told them before they started. The letters hadn't got through and heaven knows what they would have thought if I hadn't been able to tell them what was done and about the endo. What about the people who can't manage to inform the doctors or think they would know something as basic as that? Love Sue

There you are, woodbon, all sorted and all OK. No wonder you fretted, these things are unsettling, but now you know that all is OK. A good thing, methinks! I hope you will enjoy your week-end now that is all done and dusted. DD

Oooh, glad that's all over for you, Sue. Amazing how tiring these hospital appointments are, whatever they are for.

I'm not surprised you had to tell them that you'd had a hysterectomy..........had a similar situation myself this year, having said it about three times, the radiographer said 'Oh, you've had a ........' and I shouted Yes!

Oh Sue, that is good news, you must feel so relieved - a big weight lifted from your shoulders.

I do know what you mean though, about people who are unable to advocate for themselves ... the thought is scary.
