Had my jabs and flying high...

Evening everyone!

I hope that you are all wrapped up and cosy on this blustery evening!

I have just come back from the doctor where I've been given another steroid injection to help calm my RA. I am feeling rather high and floaty... it's a good distraction from the aching backside I now have. And I had my flu jab this week. So I'm hoping that by the end of next week I'll be moving around a bit better and will be protected from the nasty colds so I can enjoy the Christmas parties which already start at the end of this month!

I've also been given another few sessions at the hydro pool, so I shall continue to be stretched out for longer. Slowly, slowly I'm getting closer to being my 'normal' self... it would be lovely if I can enjoy Christmas by being able to have a little dance at the parties without hurting all over and feeling extremely tired by 8pm and have a couple of glasses of wine without feeling very ill the next day... it's the simple things that please me.

Sending you all hugs and I hope that you aren't feeling too rough today! :D:wink:

    Hi Alarka

Glad you are feeling so good at the moment and that the steroid is helping. I also hope it lasts for you through the christmas period so that you can go to the parties that you are invited.
Will keep my fingers crossed for you
    Take care

I loved your sense of 'floatyness' and then laughed at your sore btm.

Thank you all for being pleased for me! It's nice to have had a weekend of not feeling utterly groggy, but I know that it may not last long, so have made the most of it! I've stopped feeling so high which is a good thing... being brought into work by my Mum holding me on the end of a piece of string so I don't float away, really isn't a great way to start the week... :!:

Onwards to a hectic week - the boss is away, but there's a pile of 'must do' stuff which has to still be done  I hope that you all have had lovely weekends in some way or other. :D xxx
