Hi to all, today I have been to see my therapist for my depression and had a good chat, about my illness. She seems to be abled to get to the places that you cant reach alone. It is nice to hear her reasons for my depressed state. I am on a high when I come out from there also feeling good because I got a Kenalog(steroid) injection on thursday. Not alot of answers as my consultant is away on holiday. I am at hospital on monday for a gastoscopy as i think i have cricoarytenoid arthritis which I have had for years and years which they could not identify. well thats my little bitch over for now.

Hope we all have a pain free weekend (prey for) :D

Hi handsy, it's good to hear that you have found someone who can help you with your depression. How often will you be seeing her? I hope the steroid helps matters too, easing pain etc. Take care. DD
Have you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben

    Hi John

wouldn't call taht a bitch at all :)

you ahve every right to feel rough at the mo wityh no meds - glad you had the jab to keep you ticking though.

Sometimes therapists can make you realise stuff you know yourself, but can't formulate so you feel even better as you know what they say is right......if you know what i mean?

Anyway she/he sounds to be a good one for you.

    Love

    Hi John :D

I'm really glad to hear the therapy is helping you with managing the depression. Finding the right kind of therapy and therapist is so important... and as you say it can make a huge difference to how you feel. :D

You're managing to cope remarkably well given all you've had thrown at you recently with the withdrawal of meds etc. :!:

It's good the kenalog is easing the pain that is arther and I hope the effects last for a few weeks to come.

I had to look up cricoarytenoid arthritis as I'd not heard of it before. We're learning something new about arther every day.
hope the gastroscopy isn't too rough on you John.

will be thinking of you.... and pleaase let us know how you get on.

Sounds positive - a jab that worked and the lovely therapist who is helping.

I have had OA since mid twenties. It affects my hips and knees. I had a THR on the left aged 30 and now have a resurface-replacement on the right - done May 2010.
