hi all - hope your weekend is going well. i am just off to get ready for a 12.5 hour night shift. Cant manage a 30 min walk to my daughters school with out the pain getting awful bad so I think tonight is going to be interesting! I have reduced my hours to x2 6 hour day shifts but this dosnt come into effect until mid dec so unfortunately 5 more long nights to do. Please could you cross your fingers for me that i make it through with no tears - thanks x

    Oh spacey
working and being in such pain isn't a good combination. and I wish that you weren't having to do those 5 more long night shifts ....

Of course I'll have my fingers and toes crossed for you... hope that tonight's shift passes and that you don't suffer more as a consequence.
    (((hugs))))

Oh spacey, I wish you the very best: I hope you emerge as intact as you can be - roll on the new regime! If I have interpreted correctly tonight will leave you 1 down and 4 to go, yes? Good luck. DD

that certainly does sound like a tough night for you - so I've got much of me crossed for you to survive the night!

As DD says, that will be 1 down and only 4 to go :D

thinking of you and hoping it is not as painful as it sounds likely to be.

    hugs

thanks everyone last night was exceptionally and unusually quiet, and I was working with good friends so it turned out to be a nice shift. Starting to ache now but am off to bed after I have taken my painkillers. night all x

    Hi Spacey,

Glad to hear you have got one night shift over with. I do hope the next four are as quiet for you but I suppose that is a long shot.
Good news that you will be able to cut down your hours next month though.
Fingers crossed that you have managed to have a good sleep today.
