Hello all,
New to all this, I recently only got told I have arthritis. I have an appointment with a specialist tomorrow. I haven't even been told which type I have, but I assume its Psoriatic arthritis as I also have Psoriasis. Im only 25 so feel very young for this, but reading through I see people younger or around my age who suffer worse.
My knees are where I have most my issues, although a couple of fingers also have it. Maybe thats just my fault from where I just to click my fingers as a child and be told "you will get arthritis if you carry on doing that!"
Alex.

Hi Alex,
A big welcome to the forum. Sorry that you have had to find us though.
Good luck with your appointment for tomorrow. We always recommend that you write a list of questions you want to ask as you tend to forget things until you are on your way home!
It also helps the consultant if you write a log of your day to day symptoms and how they affect you.
Have a look round and join in whenever you want, they’re a great bunch on here so you will made to feel welcome.
Hope to see you posting soon and please let us know how you get on tomorrow.

Hello highho, don't blame the finger-clicking! PA usually starts in the smaller joints - toes and fingers, but mine began with my left knee. i have continued to steadily add other joints since then, as one does. I hope your appointment goes well today, let us know please if you can. Any queries about meds etc post on LWA - living with arthritis - more people hang around there and you may receive more replies than on here. There are quite a few of us PAers around, and we know our stuff! I am sorry to hear that you are only 25: there are quite a few of you young 'uns around here, arthritis has no respect for age. I wish you well. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0
