Will I go to court update

Hi everyone
Has some of you may remember a couple of months ago I was shopping with my granddaughter, to cut a long story short I was at the till when this man started to shove his trolley into my legs, so I pushed it away, and he throw his self on the floor and said he had hurt is back, so I get phone call and letters saying he is suing me, I even had a visit from the police :shock: .
But for your support I would have gone to pieces,I decided to put in a counter claim, anyway this worked and he has withdrawn his claim.
So I just want to say a very big THANK YOU to all of you for your support and advice.
I am so happy it is such a weight off my shoulders

Hi there Barbara,
I have only just joined the forum and of course, didn't know about your problem.
I am so pleased for you. It must be such a relief.
I live in the London suburbs but worked in central London for many years.
This sort of thing is becoming more and more common there.
I had a young girl jump out onto a zebra crossing in front of my car on purpose. I missed her. I was told by a passer-by that she did this on a regular basis, hoping to get compensation.
I won't miss next time!!
I think some Magistrates are now more aware of what is happening on our
streets and hopefully, in a few years time, it will become known to everyone to be more aware of these scam artists.

Great News Barbara i am so please for you. I am a great believe in things happening to people who do wicked things to others. You may not be around to see it but it will happen. Makes you wonder how may times he has done this before. Hope you have a Fab evening and celebrate in what ever fashion you do (chocolates???).

what a relief i am glad to hear it....what low lifes...... (we all suffer for this dishonest behaviour such as my car insurance has gone up £140 with no changes - we are paying for all these false claims) - like the counter sue stuff - brilliant move.

Fantastic piece of news Barbara Well Done! , remember reading that post at the time and was disgusted,but knowing the low life scum we have today was not totally surprised.
The SOB has just learnt a valuable lesson that your not to be taken advantage off 8) .
