Hi
im 29 with RA in hands, been diagnosed for over 2 years. I have been having tingly hands for about a month or so. Its when i come in from the cold and then my hands go tingly for 10 – 15 mins and then sometimes during the day for no reason they go like it. It feels like i’m loosing sensation a bit during that time as well?

any ideas?

Gx

I occasionally get tingly hands too, but I think it's to do with the fact that I am currently not on folic acid: that situation is about to be remedied - deep joy - but to be frank it really hasn't/doesn't bother me. I always wear gloves when it's cold, more to protect my skin and nails but also to try to stop any problems with cold hands/circulation. I wish you well. DD
Have you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben

    Hi Gemma,

Two of my fingers on my left hand tingled for a long while and eventually I went to the GPs - it turned out I had a nerve trapped at my elbow which resolved itself in the end.

As all your fingers are tingling I'd have a chat with the doc or your rheumy nurse just to check - I don't think it's what I had but it's probably something to do with the nerves.

    Let us know what happens.

    Poor you Gemma

I tend to agree with Linda there - worth making a note and taking it to your next appt if it's soon - if not maybe you should get it checked?
