    I have had OA since mid twenties. It affects my hips and knees. I had a THR on the left aged 30 and now have a resurface-replacement on the right - done May 2010.

    awwww thank you so much, I am sorry I have only just seen this or I would have replied sooner. I haven't been on much lately as Im suffering quite a bit. Whether its the weather or not I don't know but my shoulders and knees are really bad, along with neck, feets, hands blah blah blah.... you get the picture :roll:

    thank you for your kind wishes, they are lovely to read. even my hubby came running downstairs when he heard me 'awwww'ing' :lol:

    i was given the most amazing birthday from my husband and my big sister. my husband dropped the boys off at school and took me into wigan town centre to a jewellery shop and let me choose my own pandora bracelet, a total surprise. took me for a coffee and a cake in starbucks and then in the evening we watched a movie at home and he ordered a kfc :D

    my sister arranged for her husband to collect us on the saturday in the evening, dropping her two boys off to babysit my boys, and went to hers for a three course meal with herself, her hubby, me and my hubby. candlelit child free adult conversation dinner with lots of laughs and wine and her hubby drove us home after coffee.

    i have had the most amazing birthday. ive never celebrated it always put my boys first because its so close to christmas but apparently given the year ive had, they wanted to spoil me...

    i felt very humbled, it was such a lovely weekend.

    thank you again everyone, seeing this message has really kept me cheerful. i shall try to pop on again soon to read how others are doing.

    Glad you had a special day especially have you've been hurting lately.

    I've just looked what a Pandora bracelet is - aren't they lovely plus they're different from conventional charm bracelets .....methinks I know what I'd like from Santa now, so thanks for that :D:D

    thank you toni, i had a really lovely day. really cheered me up.

    legs, they're so pretty. i hadn't heard of them either until my sister showed them to me. you can build them up to your own choice of colours and charms etc.... hubby got me the 'present' charm, as it was my birthday and the number '3' charm to represent our three boys and two pink glass beads, as im a sucker for anything pink lol

    definately ask santa :wink:

    Isn’t it lovely when unexpected surprises turn out so well? You deserved a special treat or two. The bracelet sounds lovely and you can add to it so it will always full of memories.
