Just wondered if any of you have heard of or tried knotgrass..?
I tried it before, didn't really do anything for me but a friend swears by it and now the stockists said they're supplier are stopping making it.. Any advice?

Lots of people think they have arthritis. The operative word is 'think'. Many people self-diagnose, Tony. You and I haven't, neither has anyone else on here, but it's amazing how many people who can move perfectly well and are not on any meds tell me they have arthritis. Oh and that builder and his cream? Look at the date he joined and look at the number of posts. Your sceptical mate, DD.Have you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

She definately has arthritis, she's been through a lot of treatments, she's 74 and had it a long time..
Haha, me, sceptical.. No way.. Lol

Poor woman. Well if it worked for her then that can only be good. I wonder why they might stop making it? Time to do some googling! I hope your knees are feeling better today. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

Ta Del, I don't know if I can put company names on here so will swap the E for a 3, but it's made by A VOG3LS SUPPLEMENTS.. Think it's Danish maybe..
I just was interested if anyone has has had any benefit from trying it.. Poor old lass was really panicking about it being discontinued. I have emailed the company direct for her and asked them about it..

Just thought I would let you know that I have had a response from the company and due to the EU Herbal Directive they will no longer be offering notgrass as of April 2011 due to the EU Herbal Directive...?
Wonder what that's all about then..

Hi Tony
Knot grass has stinging nettle in it, and this has been used for years to treat rheumatism and arthur.
I have an old book on natural medicine, its around 100 yrs old, and stinging nettle is mentioned in that.
Good luck with it.

hi Tony,
not sure what the medical opinion is but the vets tell me... and we have proved it with a sheep, that all this stuff only helps in early stages..... i have tried it with ginseng but didn't eel any different but for me healing can work well and self training in respect of pain and basically ignoring it has really helped.
i think what i am saying is try it cus some people find it helps. you might find it does or you might fin it doesn't....
if you do try it let us know how it goes please. sorry about one handed typing. Cris x0 -
Hi Cris, Barbara, it wasn't actually for me, I tried it yrs ago and got no benefit at all, it's my Mum's friend, she's in her 70's and she says that it's the knotgrass that has helped her get rid of her crutches a couple of yrs ago.. I don't know if it's placebo effect or what but it's obviously good for her.. I have done the research and they're discontinuing it, poor old luv, will make sure she gets a big supply of it..
Thanks
