I was feeling very down and cold, I don't drink much at all but really fancied one today so raided the drinks cabinet to see what I could make with what was in there.
I found a bottle of vodka, some coffee liquer (T.. M....) and some coke.
Mixed it altogether with a bucket full of ice and got myself a Black Russian.
I not been so happy for years!!!

You got any favourites to share?

There ya go Del, that's the smallest glass I could find.. :D

I haven't drunk for years but I used to enjoy a large p3rnod and black, but with just enough black to slightly colour it!

White wine. And real ale. On a good night, four or five of the latter (over a period of four or more hours) and a galss or two of the former. Saturday promises to be a good night - rugby up the pub, curry after. DD

    Well, what can I say!
What a mixture. There will be a lot of drink to be bought for our Christmas party then?
I was hoping there might be a few recipes for things like "sidecar" or "Pina Collada" or some exotic cocktails - things like that.
No one has mentioned a "Bloody Mary". A bit old-fashioned I know but still one of my favourites. It also counts as one of your five a day fruits!!!!!!!!
Let them argue with that one!!!!!!!

One third vodka, two thirds tomatoe juice, good shake of Worecestershire Sauce, all poured over a load of ice and stirred with a stick of celery.
    Yehhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Baileys, Baileys and more Baileys. 2 large bottles next to the cooker and how long will they last?
Limoncella is my other fave. But I am put off by the calorie intake of alcohol so I don't really drink that often,
