Hi TJC, I am under the pain clinic at the minute, not sure if it will be the same though, mine is literally seeing the pain specialist, I filled a big form out explaining where the pain is etc, then was examined and we discussed options, he's going to do some injections for me..
I have heard that other clinics have meetings too, like group therapy, not my thing but hey, if it helps others...
They specialist will be the one who takes control of your pain meds, but if he's decent like mine, he'll talk everything through with you..

    Hope that helps..

Hi Barbara, I think that they are, the group thing is just something I've never been offered, I have only been under the PC this time a few months but was under them about 12 years ago, they did a fortnight's intense physio, and hydrotherapy, also tried doing a series of epidurals, I think I had about 4 in the same amount of days? It's a bit vague now, I just it didn't work for the OA in my spine..
