Hi All on This Cold Weekend...

Im off on another song post...This time im going to list tunes that i didnt actually know the true meaning of till quite some time....

There She Goes - The La's....Its about drugs, rushing through veins, the drug is named as "she"...
Lola - The Kinks - Okay im a bit naive but i didnt know this was about a transvestite...honest!!!
She's My Man - Scissor Sisters - About a drag king, a real toughie by all accounts who was on a barge boat....
Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds - Beatles...Okay i were only about 8 at time, i didnt know what LSD was....

Unfortunately that's an urban myth as John Lennon's son, Julian, inspired the song with a nursery school drawing he called "Lucy — in the sky with diamonds" and was associated with LSD incorrectly. The idiots at the BBC banned it without any evidence of it being drug related.
